Located on the open space of KLCC and centrally positioned in the Golden Triangle, Aquaria KLCC has around 5000 aquatic creatures and over 150 species of marine creatures. The 5574 sq. m. (60000 sq. ft.) aquarium houses the freshwater and marine flora and fauna that are found in Malaysia and across the world. Some of the major highlights are moving walkway and 295 ft. glass tunnel, where visitors can spot giant tiger sharks, stingrays, schools of fish, and sea turtles. It also houses glass bottom simulated boat and wave tank.
The team of scuba divers in oceanarium drop into the tanks for amazing and thrilling animal feeding shows along the day. You may sign up for Cage Rage or Dive with Sharks experiences to get closer to the marine creatures.
There is a giant tank with authentic shipwreck in Aquarium KLCC. It consists of 90m walk into the tunnel with travelator in the heart of it. You will spot giant stingrays and tiger sharks inside the tunnel. You can look at the crew while heading to The Stream and take a break. It hosts the beautiful Asian otter with small claws and giant water rat. The ‘Jewels of the Jungle’ section features a range of amphibians, reptiles, and insects, including tarantula, green snake, and coatimundi. Also, you can see the exhibit to explore the lifecycle of butterflies.
