The Jurong Bird Park in Singapore is ranked as one of the largest bird sanctuaries in the world and houses whopping 400 avian species of over 5000 birds. There is a tram in the park, which is well known for exploring the main attractions for the visitors. If you choose to visit the park individually, you can take a hop-on hop-off bus from the Singapore Flyer to stop here. Jurong Bird Park is located up to 30 minutes off the city and is served well by public transport. Head to Boon Lay MRT through green line and take Bus 194 towards the entry. It is the easiest option to get there.
Jurong Bird Park remains open from 8.30am to 6pm every day. Since climate of Singapore usually remains humid and hot, you should visit the park during late afternoon or morning.
Jurong Bird Park is one of four main attractions, which includes Wildlife Reserves Singapore, apart from Singapore Night Safari, Singapore Zoo, and River Safari. If you are planning to visit several attractions, you can buy four-park entry, two-park entry, or ParkHopper pass, including boat and tram rides at all the parks. Each park has admission tickets separately.
