The KL Tower (Menara Kuala Lumpur in Malay) or the Kuala Lumpur Tower is actually a communications tower in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was built on March 1995 and features antenna which is so long that raises its height to 421m and roof of its pod stands at 335m. It is ranked 7th in the world as one of the tallest freestanding towers. The rest of the area just has an elevator and stairwell to reach upper deck, which also houses a rotating restaurant, offering a breathtaking view of city’s skyline.

The tower remains open all the year round and every day. However, in peak season during December and January, the tower can get busy. To skip the crowds, be sure to visit in the morning or catch the exotic nighttime view in the evening.
